KnifeMakersDatabase.com would like you to take a moment to welcome our newest knifemaker to become a part of our growing site, Craig Mann of Mann Made Knives. Craig is a new Canadian knifemaker who has been honing his skills for the past few years in order to come to this point: where he can offer to both the using and collecting public, a knife that you can depend on, one that will not falter when it matters most, one that satisfies visually, ergonomically, and above all of course, PERFORMANCE-WISE.
Craig Mann has created a line of super-cool, high-performance tactical, fighting / combat and self-defense knives. When it comes to combining modern technology and knifemaking, Craig Mann's knives take it to the next level and beyond that. I am speaking not only visually, but also about the quality and durability of the materials selected for use. These knives are STRONG! A chain is only as strong as its weakest link... The advanced materials and construction techniques used in the creation of Mann Made Knives is second to none.
"Malice" is no exception. This knife keeps all the performance found in all of Craig's 01 steel knives, and takes his artistic expression to the next level as well. First, there is no word to describe just how sharp this blade is - perhaps Malice is more fitting than any. Also, being made of 01, you know as well as I that this is an edge that will hold and will come back to bright new with little trouble or work.
Craig's cord and skin wraps are outstanding. No frays, no loose ends or misalignments... You get what you pay for. The material's used are the absolute finest available. The skin wrap is the center piece of a stingray belly (That's the white markings, almost pearlish, you see under the wrap.) While one ray may yield a hundred wraps, only one will have that white marking. This is the Dorsal Bone of the Ray. Also, notice the two skuls carved into the butt of the knife - a really superb touch. This is a special piece in many many ways. I know if you have any doubts, they will flee fast once you have Malice in your hands.
