Another great knife from Museum Arms & Armor. This knife is their tactical model featuring full tang construction with a tang hole. The birds-eye pattern damascus blade is made of over 500 layers of high carbon steel and nickel silver. Its drop point design sports a sharp, hollow ground edge. The handle is made of high quality rosewood slabs, fastened by solid brass pins. The fit of this knife is superb. the slabs, pins and bolsters align perfectly with the tang of the blade - no unevenness, no spaces, not even room for a hair, this knife is tight. The construction is extremely solid and the balance is excellent, located right behind the bolster.
The sheath for this knife was made for it later on and did not come with the knife originally. The knife never had a sheath. We decided a knife like this ( a real great user / carry knife) needed a sheath to complement it, so we had a quality, hand tooled black leather sheath crafted specifically for this knife. the matching brass button snap on the sheath adds a nice touch!
