Another fine custom knife by custom knifemaker, Jay Fisher.
This custom hunting knife, dubbed "Chama" by its maker, is another one of
those knives that you just don't want to put down once you've picked it up!
You can almost see how it would feel in your hand just by looking at the
Honduran Rosewood Burl handle. The talent exemplified in the work of
carving the Rosewood Burl into its many contoured form to be identical on
either side of the knife along with evenly matching the nickel silver pins to
be flush with the varying shape and height of the surface of the handle is awe inspiring.
The blade of the knife is made from 440C high chromium steel, which has
been tempered and hardened to a hardness of 60 in the Rockwell Scale. The
blade has been polished to a radiant mirror finish and adorned with some
very impressive file work along the spine. 8 Nickel Silver pins bring everyting
together to create one very special custom hunting knife.
